Dear Plaintiff Counsel, Defense Counsel, Claims Representatives, and Parties:
From 1982 until recently, I was an active litigator of personal injury cases. During that time I developed a deep understanding of the issues facing both injured parties and insurers. I always understood that the amount of the settlement was an important piece of the equation. But, I also developed a deep understanding of many other issues that must be considered and resolved before the injured party and the insurer can reach resolution.
While working as a litigator, I also gained an appreciation for the challenges facing claims representatives, claims managers, defense counsel, and plaintiffs’ counsel as they attempt to competently and ethically work on behalf of their employers and clients. Handling claims and litigating cases is very hard work.
As a mediator, I can help both sides with this difficult and demanding work. I can help you work through the mediation process in a civil and respectful manner as we try to find a creative resolution for your case.
Having developed a unique set of skills and insights over the past 30 years as a litigator, I am now able to serve you well in the role of mediator. I look forward to working with you.
